One of the medical services Mercy Ships provides to people in West Africa is operating on large facial tumors. The pic of the baby is one I posted from May 2005 showing what a facial tumor looks like and the pic of the actual tumor below it is a tumor that was taken out today!  Dr. Gary Parker, who has served with Mercy Ships for over 20 years, is the maxilla-facial surgeon on board who took out this tumor.

The hand is holding the lower mandible (sp?) bone.  You can see the bottom teeth sticking out of the tumor.
