Nepal

Hello from far away! Nepal is cold! But I'm thankful i am able to experience some cold this year and am also looking forward to being back in the African heat:-) The Lord kept Lisa and I safe as we traveled. And has walked with us through our adventure in Nepal. Kathmandu, the city we're living in, is comparable both to Cotonou, Benin, and to Wuhan, China. It's hard to place it anywhere, but I think that's where it fits in my mind. It's somewhat more developed than Benin, but less developed than China - but culturally, i think it's most similar to Korea . . . the wedding we came for, was successful and very Nepali style. There were probably 300 to 400 guests and it was also the first time Lisa and i ate real Nepali food - Spicy! Right now my time is running short as we are in a Cyber Cafe - so i must end, but i'll write more later :-) Blessings and His mercy on all of you! emily:-)
